Having recently traveled to the Arizona mountains, it was a great reset. A busy schedule had pushed me into almost a paralyzed state, not sure how to get everything done. Seeing the turning leaves of gold and red provided a chance to pause and reflect on the beauty of nature.
Getting away was fun and I noticed that seeing the beauty of nature in the changing leaves and seeing elk, wild turkeys and deer, allowed me to pause and reflect.

Try This: Simply Remember to Breathe
When we put pressure on ourselves to finish projects and keep up with family and friends, and more, it is easy to get overwhelmed. Each morning this week, choose to practice one of these things that give you some peace to breathe:
- Practice Gratitude - Make a list of things that you are thankful for and write them down.
- Find Inspiration from Others - Read a book that offers insights and stories of positive successes.
- List Your Blessings - Write down things that remind yourself of living a good life with family, friends or small things that matter to you.
Trying new things to find what works to relieve your stress can become a great habit. One simple way I remember to breathe is to thank the trees, flowers and bushes for their beauty as I walk in the morning.
