When you're trying to make progress on a project or goal, ever have a gut feeling or hunch that guides you to make a change or to shift gears?
The idea is to follow your inner voice or intuition, but it is hard to discern if the nudge is critical for you to move forward or just a question mark about your process. This quote from Lynn A. Robinson, an author and intuition expert offers insight:
"When you listen to your intuition, you invite calm into your life. You let quiet, peace, and harmony rule instead of letting fear, stress, or doubt take the lead. It’s subtle, but powerful - a gentle compass pointing toward decisions that feel right for you, even when the world feels loud or overwhelming." *
Try This: Lean into Your Intuition
Robinson added, "Small actions based on your inner guidance create ripples of confidence and ease in your life, helping you navigate challenges with clarity."* Here is a way to start:
- Take a deep breath.
- Ask yourself, "What do I need to do right now?"
- Take another breath and pause to truly listen.
- Notice subtle nudges and jot down on a note paper or journal what comes to mind.
- Honor what feels aligned and act on what moves you forward.
At times, I have used an intuition journal to track what comes to mind or jot notes after having a dream that offers a message. The best practice is to learn to pay attention to your gut feelings or hunches with a system that works for you to reinforce noticing your intuition giving you a nudge!
