Lean into Your Truth

After the last two blog posts, hopefully you have considered leaning into your courage and spunk when challenged to move forward on a dream, goal or project.  As you can tell, it has been on my mind to jumpstart motivation for taking action. Sometimes, it is merely a pivot using a little dab of courage or a bit more spunk!

Then I got to thinking about having another block in moving toward success. For example, have you ever told yourself it does not really matter if you achieve the dream or goal. Maybe you even have told yourself it is good enough to have crafted one. In essence, you are lying to yourself as an excuse for not taking the next step. This quote from 4DHumanBeing.com caught my eye:

"Being more truthful with yourself helps you become more fearless, gain clarity, increase self-reliance, and build healthier relationships." *

Try This: Lean into Your Truth

According to 4D Human Being’s blog, "The first step is to do some honest self-reflection. To simply acknowledge to yourself that something is wrong." Here are some practical tips to help you "lean in" this week:

  • Start Small: Practice by acknowledging small truths you’ve been avoiding in a journal.
  • Speak with Love: Talk of a truth that is blocking you with kindness, humility, and compassion to alleviate the negativity that confounds you.
  • Be Curious: Approach the truth with an open mind, focusing on discovery rather than just defending your existing beliefs.

In moving forward on a project, goal or dream this week, if a block appears, try leaning into it with your truth. Doing one of these simple tips helped me get over my ego.
