Go for a refresh!

For all you friends who are moms - whether of children or fur babies - wishing you a joyful Mother’s Day!

A holiday is often a mixed bag of emotions because some people are not able to celebrate with their loved ones.  Whether someone has passed, lives far away or there are scheduling conflicts, there can be disappointments.

Hopefully, you'll be with loved ones and maybe a bit pampered today, but if not, I have an idea for you!

Try This: Go for a refresh!

Here are several ways to rejuvenate your mind, body and spirit to do this holiday or during the week:

  • Walk in nature
  • Deep breathe and meditate
  • Journal or write a poem
  • Draw, color or doodle
  • Play music or listen to a favorite song
  • Nap or simply lie down to relax

These fun things to do and offer the benefit of a brief respite from busy schedules and stress. My "go to" is to walk every morning in the sunshine with the peaceful smell of blooming flowers and birds singing. What's yours?
