Remember to Start Your Day with Gratitude

It's crazy how a busy day ahead can cause anxiousness. Or ruminating over something disappointing that happened yesterday can often bring someone down.

An article caught my eye about how using positive statements and affirmations daily can help you deal with issues or negative things that occur during the day.

Starting my day with a positive attitude has been something that I have believed in for decades and I always enjoy trying new exercises.

Try this: Remember to Start Your Day with Gratitude

Because of busy lives, heavy workloads, lots of family demands, and other distractions, the idea of a new habit is often met with an eye roll. Here's a fun approach for you to try this week:

  • Start each morning with a journal, notepad, or notes app on your phone.
  • Write down 3 things for which you are grateful.
  • Then, list 3 good things you did yesterday.

Simple, right? This exercise helps you focus on positive things during your day. Plus, if you don't like journaling, it's an easy and quick way to create a new habit.
