Use the Power of Experience

It is amazing how we have so many experiences throughout our lives that are stuffed into memory banks that are positive or negative. Key is to use the positive ones to help create an upbeat mindset.

When you focus on using happy or fulfilling experiences, there is the ability to cover them in gratitude. Once you are grateful for a fun experience, this powerful emotion can lift your spirit.

Try This: Use the Power of Experience

A great exercise is to use the power of memories and a sprinkle of gratitude to enhance your positivity. Here is a start to making a new habit this week:

  • Grab 7 index cards.
  • Each day write down a memory that makes you smile.
  • Add a note of gratitude.
  • Finish with crafting a note of joy.

In crazy lives, sometimes we get caught up in problems to solve that we forget all the fun things that bless our lives. When doing this exercise, I put a hand to my heart to remind myself to smile and appreciate the quick moment of gratitude.
