One thing about us humans is that we are captive to habits. For example, one of my habits is to walk every day the same path in the "hood." There are two Little Libraries along my route, and I enjoy finding a new book that someone has shared. One day, grabbing two books to donate to them, I decided to walk my usual path backwards and was pleasantly surprised. Taking a different path helped me see new things along the route, giving me a different perspective.
The issue with habits, like my daily walk, is that they limit our vision. So, when you’re stuck with a project, issue or idea, consider this fun quote from noted author, Dan Brown:
"Sometimes a change of perspective is all it takes to see the light." *
