With the start of this month, we're almost halfway through the year. If you had set goals or had a dream that you wrote down, have you made any traction toward achieving them?
For example, do you want to achieve in an area of your life like career or health or travel? Maybe you wanted to start a new business or find a soulmate. If so, how is that going? Have you mapped it out?
Liked this quote from author and owner of ClickFunnels, Russell Brunson, "When was the last time you had a vision for your future? When was the last time you sat down in a quiet room for more than 30 minutes and intentionally mapped out your vision for the future?"* Most importantly, if someone asked if you had a vision for your future or a dream, what would be your answer?
Try This: Have a Vision? Map it!
The idea of being able to speak easily about a vision or future dream means others can find ways to help. If you have no clear idea of your future, then you’ll get muddy results. So, today, begin with these:
- Write a letter to your future self.
- Draw a mind map of your big picture goals.
- Create a vision board with pictures and inspiring words.
- Develop a quick description of 20-30 words that inspire you.
If you use one of these, challenge yourself this week is to tell at least one person a day about your vision or show them the map or vision board!
