As April offers the freshness of Spring, it can be easy to get distracted by great weather outside. It gives you a reason to ignore those items on your "to do" list. Using a little bit of escape is a perfect antidote to help you refocus on a dream or big goal.
"Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you."*
Anne Lamott, author
When you consider some time to unplug, set the commitment to honor your personal play time!
Try This: Set & Honor "Me" Time
Here's a fun challenge for you this week. Set a time every day as "Me" Time that's for you to be creative, and to let your imagination fly. Here are some ideas to unplug:
- Singing
- Dancing
- Meditating or praying
- Playing a musical instrument
- Writing in your journal
What's your time of day for a few minutes to dream, be silly, or celebrate being alive? For example, my time is going to be 11 am every day this week for a couple minutes of my time!
